Description :	"Herbs, 20-150 cm high. Leaves herbaceous, dull, upper side dark to medium green, midrib often purple-red, lower side palish green. Stem purple. Outer involucral bracts leaf-like, darkish green with purple margins, inner involucral light green with many parallel black lines. Floral bracts translucent greenish white, apex yellowish, with 3 pale green veins, these blackish alined to apex. Ovary pale green. Corolla pale green in basal half, upper half yellow. Anther tube brownish. Stigmas yellow."
